Gareth Downie, Managing Director of Downie Capital, is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a solid entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record in leading complex financial and operational projects across a range of sectors. His strategic vision and business insight play a vital role in ensuring the success of Downie & McIvor Capital Ltd, particularly in managing large-scale property developments that bring significant value to stakeholders. Gareth’s deep connection to East Ayrshire fuels his desire to create impactful projects that benefit the local community.
 

Paul McIvor, Managing Director of AQS Ltd, brings over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. His expertise lies in commercial management and quantity surveying, having worked across specialized subcontracting and main contracting organizations. Paul's diverse experience includes working on projects within petrochemical, residential housing, distilleries, renewable energy plants, and large-scale infrastructure developments. His strengths in cost control, risk management, contract administration, and project delivery are crucial to the company’s success. Like Gareth, Paul is committed to making a positive difference in the East Ayrshire area, using his skills and experience to support local development and job creation.
